Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture Exposition 2011 ‘Artisanal -
The theme chosen for this year is ‘Artisanal- Bringing the Craft to the Fore’- an entirely novel blend of Indian finery with a layered western construct.
Talking about the Exposition, Tarun Tahiliani said, “It is a proud moment as the exposition travels & enters its third season. We have received overwhelming response from our clients in the past & we expect the same this season. The exposition this year is a tribute to the artisan hands that pour their energy into creating and preserving works of depth and beauty. ‘Artisanal’ is an inspirational confluence of two great artisanal traditions in a unique fashion; Indian Couture layered in a Western Construct. The exposition presents our rich heritage with the finest weaves, embroideries, jewels, stones and techniques. This, we hope, will bring our artisans and processes to the fore, resulting in a new luxe and fine fit that is uniquely Indian in taste.
