Tribhuvanam is a village near the Kumbakonam in Thiruvidaimarudur taluk of Thanjavur district in the Indian state of Tamilnadu. A woman of Tamilnadu enjoys wearing these traditional sarees because of their outstanding comfort and beauty in any type of occasion.
Though weaving is an ancient craft practiced in all the regions of Tamilnadu. The sophisticated methods which have now developed through the stages of designing, printing and dyeing have elevated weaving to an art form. The two main fabric used in making sarees are cotton and silk. The fabric that are used in making the sarees are cotton sarees, silk saree, tissue saree and many more.
To wrap a saree is an art but maintaining the saree is something which requires more attention. Generally the silk saree should be dry cleaned.
