Shah Rukh Khan has got more than a million followers on Twitter a little over a year-and-half after joining the micro-blogging site.
“Celebrating the million mark by watching Bambi with my daughter. Feeling the warmth…thanx all. Love u,” Shah Rukh posted on his page today (July 11).
SRK, who joined Twitter in January 2010, got over 10,000 followers within the first 24 hours of joining the Bollywood brigade on the website.
But Shah Rukh is not the first Indian celebrity to achieve the million followers feat, as cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, author-politician Shashi Tharoor and actress Priyanka Chopra crossed it before him.
These days, the 45-year-old superstar is gearing up for the release of his superhero film ‘RA.One’, which will hit screens this Diwali.
