VOX VISION presents “BENAZIR BHUTTO” The Movie
Former prime minister and leader of the leading opposition party Benazir Bhutto plans to begin her historic return flight to Pakistan from Dubai, ending her more than eight-year-old self-exile. In Pakistan, her party members are setting up a pompous reception little do they know that Karachi will, once again, witness a worst bloodshed, body parts flying in all directions, some even beyond recognition. But it will not stop the ‘Daughter of the East’, as she was called, from continuing her journey across Pakistan to motivate the masses.
With the national elections scheduled for January 2008, her Pakistan People’s Party is poised for a victory that will make Bhutto prime minister of Pakistan for the third time. Only a few weeks before the election, the horror strikes again. Only this time she will follow her father’s footsteps to martyrdom.

Her assassination comes at a time when Pakistan’s social fiber is in a fragile state and in a desperate need for a political leader with not only a wide exposure to politics but has the charisma and power to move the masses.
